Telephone system
UNIK has a PABX of model Ericsson MD110 with IP module and a Voicemail unit.
We have three types of telephones: Analog, systemtelephones (Dialog 3212)and IP-telephones (Dialog 4425).
Download user manuals.
Internally you can dial shortnumbers (3 digits). For external calls, dial zero and wait for external dialtone.
Search the web for internal numbers and for persons at norwegian universities
and colleges.
Voicemail.
Record a welcome message or listen to incoming messages:
Call voicemail: (64844)800. Press (#) og dial own phonenumber. Key in password (Default '1234').
Follow instructions.
Activate voicemail:
Key in 'normal' code for redirect to voicemail: *21*800#
Remember to cancel redirection with: #21#
Conference
It's possible to include up to seven persons in a conference . IP- and systemtelephones are equipped with handsfree
microphone and speaker, so several people can attend in the room (not suitable for large meetingrooms). IP phones are
installed in meetingroom 408 (+47 64844775) and 308b (+47 64844707).
Setting up conference from IP phone:
- Call first party.
- Press button 'Overfør' (function button no 7 left row).
- Wait for internal dialtone (press 0 for external dialtone) and call second party.
- Press 'Konferanse' (button no 5 left row).
- Check that you have both parties on line.
- Press 'Overfør', wait for dialtone, call third party, and so on.
From systemtelephone:
- Call first party.
- Press function button 'R/Spørreanrop' (function button no 3 from bottom)
- Wait for internal dialtone (press 0 for external dialtone) and dial second party.
- Press 'Melding' (Function button 4 from the top)
- Check that you have both parties on line.
- Same procedure to add more participants.
From analog telephone:
- Call first party.
- Press button 'R'
- Wait for internal dialtone (press 0 for external dialtone) and call second party.
- Press '3'.
- Check that you have both parties on line.
- And so on to add more participants.
