Server for personal websites

The personal webpages can be accessed by addresses (URLs) on the format: http://www.unik.no/people/<username>.

The server is a ‘Microsoft Internet Information Server’, which means that you can use Microsoft tools like Microsoft Expression Web or Visual Web Developer, to edit your pages and develop applications. Connect to your site by mapping up the web directory with share name (Network path) \\yerevan\webusers\<username> and edit with the editor of your choice. PHP is supported.

The presentations of staff members on our ‘official’ web-pages include links to the personal sites. If you don't want this link to your site, let us know.
